Clay & Cotton began in 2026 in Cape Town, out of a simple belief: the smallest details can have the biggest impact.

We create handcrafted cement vessels, décor, and soy wax candles inspired by natural materials, earthy textures, and timeless simplicity. Every piece starts as raw material — cement hand-poured into moulds, wax gently melted and blended — and is shaped, dried, and finished entirely by hand. That process means every item carries small, natural variations in texture and tone. We don’t see that as a flaw. It’s proof that a real person made it, and no two homes will ever hold the exact same piece.

We make things slowly, in small batches, because we’d rather do it well than do it fast. Our hope is that Clay & Cotton pieces become part of the quiet moments in your home — the shelf you glance at, the tray that catches your keys, the candle you light at the end of the day.

As our brand grows, so will our collection — expanding thoughtfully, one piece at a time, into a range that makes everyday living feel a little more beautiful.
